Village Hall Improvements Autumn 2003
Over the last 18 months committee members and friends of Dodleston village hall have been
spending their spare time painting, cleaning, & decorating etc.
As you will see from the photographs, we've had new curtains made and hung.
Our new caretaker has been making a great job of sanding and varnishing the floor among other things.
There is still more to do, but we would like to thank everyone who has helped us so far.
Update from Dodleston Village Foundation
The efforts to improve the Village Hall continue, with the new curtains now in place and the floor of the old hall looking stunning. Many hours of hard work have been put in by Kevin Pearson and Steve Bowle, resulting in many favourable comments. However, financial support is still needed since there have been increases in a number of costs such as insurance. Every penny we receive from donations or hall hire goes to keep the hall and playing field open and running, so please support our new 100 Club (see inside for application form) and other fund raisers. The jumble sale was a great success raising the magnificent total of £498.88. Thanks go to all helpers and to those of you who took the trouble to sort out and bring us your donations. Start collecting now for a repeat effort in September 2004.
