Our Charity

"Develop an inclusive school promoting Christian principles where
individuals are valued irrespective of race, religion, gender or ability."

Sunflowers by Lizzie McKibbin Y6

We encourage every child at Dodleston Primary School to consider others.
We aim to nurture an understanding of those less fortunate than ourselves and a passion to make a difference.

  Red Nose Day 2007

The collection at the Christingle Service on Wednesday the 20th December raised £100 for The Children's Society

Harvest Goat Appeal - Instead of the usual gathering and giving of Harvest Fayre at the Harvest festival, this year we got involved in the FARM Africa appeal to raise money to supply goats to farming families in Africa. Dodleston raised £135 which was enough to donate 5 goats.
Jeans for Genes Day 6th October - This year saw Dodleston school children raise £66.75 by paying a pound to wear their Jeans instead of their school uniform. We had a design your own jeans competition which was won by Amber Simon, James Shaw, Bianca Ranasingh and Andrew McKibbon. Runners up were Ellie Henshall, Daniel Barcley, Sarah Hulmston and Jay Collins.

After the disaster of the Tsunami in 2004, Dodleston School got together with four other Cheshire Primary Schools to put on a huge show in the Gateway Theatre. Creating an event which hugely impacted on everyone involved and gave all children a real sense of contributing on an international level.

We were given the opportunity to help out in Romania when the daughter of one of our teaching staff went to Romania to help rebuild a school. These boxes are filled with clothes and bedding for the Romanian children.
